A non-transferable license to run Excalibur! may be obtained by sending
$20 US funds to: Excalibur!
P.O. Box 217
Mountaintop, PA 18707-0217
For Canadian and foreign orders we must have a postal money order or a check
drawn on a U.S. bank. Outside of U.S. and Canada add $2.50 for postage.
Include BBS type, BBS name, name (handle) you use as sysop, and address. The
game is ZIPped on a 5.25" diskette (3.5" on request). It will run on any BBS
that supports doors, or you can create a chain file to execute the game and
return to the BBS. Excalibur! reads WWIV "CHAIN.TXT", or RBBS "DORINFO1.DEF"
files. Excal! II handles its own modem interrupts, requiring no help from
the BBS, but will permit a FOSSIL driver to take control. Non-standard in-
terrupts for ports 1,2,3, or 4 can be specified. An editor is provided to
manipulate player files, and a mapmaking program makes it simple to create a
unique map of your own design. Individual copies bear the sysop name, BBS
name, and a unique serial number. Files aren't copy protected but have built-
in safeguards to discourage piracy. A forty page Hints & Tips booklet is
available for $3.00 each or ten for $25. Contact me if you need further
info. I'm glad you like the game. HAPPY QUESTING!
