  3. Now use your FAX machine to get the latest economic, financial and trade new
  4. available from the U.S.  government.

  6. Just dial 1-900-786-2329 from your FAX machine's touch-tone telephone and
  7. follow the simple voice instructions.  EBB/FAX(tm) stores the complete text of
  8. many government press releases and information files.  You determine the
  9. information to receive, and EBB/FAX(tm) handles the transmission of the
  10. selected file to your FAX machine - all in the same phone call.
  11.  
  12. The cost for EBB/FAX(tm) is $0.65 per minute.  Charges for this service will
  13. appear on your regular telephone bill.  NO registration charge or other fees
  14. apply, and you need not be an EBB subscriber to user EBB/FAX(tm).

  16. EBB/FAX(tm) is available 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week.  The list of
  17. available files is updated each business day; check the back of this sheet for
  18. the latest offerings and for full instructions on how to place your first call.

  34. HOW TO USE THE EBB/FAX(tm)
  35.  
  36. * Your Fax machine must have a telephone handset to access EBB/FAX(tm).  Lift
  37.   the handset and use your Fax machine's keypad to dial the EBB/FAX(tm) number:
  38.   1-900-786-2329 (or, 1-900-RUN-A-FAX).
  39.  
  40. * When your call is answered, listen to the EBB/FAX(tm) introduction:  if you
  41.   do not agree to accept the charges, hang up immediately.
  42.  
  43. * Consult the list of EBB/FAX(tm) titles below and decide which one you want to
  44.   receive.
  45.  
  46. * Enter the code number, followed by "#" (to speed the system's response); for
  47.   example, to receive the Gross Domestic Product press release, enter "110#" on
  48.   your Fax machine's keypad.
  49.  
  50. * EBB/FAX(tm) will confirm your entry.  Press "1" to receive the title chosen.
  51.  
  52. * Follow the instructions to press the Start/Receive key on your Fax machine.
  53.   (on some machines you may also have to press the Manual Receive key).
  54.   Hang-up the handset.
  55.  
  56. * The information you have chosen will be transmitted to your Fax machine.
  57.   Upon completion, the EBB FAX(tm) system will terminate the call.  Charges for
  58.   the call will appear on your telephone bill.
