  8.                    The DeAdZoNe Utilities for RemoteAccess

  11. What are they?
  12. --------------

  14. The DeAdZoNe utilities are a collection of *FREE* utilities for use with
  15. RemoteAccess.  Below is a brief description of the utilities which are
  16. available as of this writing. Be sure to look for them on your favourite  BBS,
  17. or you can obtain them directly from the system listed below by file request.
  18. You can also download them from the BBS listed below by using the GUEST account
  19. (enter `GUEST' as the username, no password required).

  22. Brief Descriptions

  25. D-StAt
  26. ======
  27.    *   Top User Statistics Generator. Provides complete system and user
  28.        information in one easy to use program. Including:
  29.    *   Top Callers, Top (message) Posters, Top Downloaders(in kilobytes and
  30.        files), Top Uploaders (in kilobytes and files), as well as totals and
  31.        Averages.
  32.    *   Will use either Handles or Real names.
  33.    *   InfoBar shows you the Total System Calls, Total Downloads,
  34.        Uploads etc., as well as Averages (e.g. Average time used per day etc.)
  35.    *   Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.
  36.    *   Colour of bulletins can be changed if desired (even a 3-d shadow effect
  37.        is available).

  40. D-DooR
  41. ======
  42.    *   Top Door Statistics. Will generate "Top Door" bulletins (i.e. which
  43.        doors are being used and how much), as well as "Top Door User" bulletins
  44.        (i.e. which *users* are accessing the doors).
  45.    *   Provides a nice looking graphs for easy comparison.
  46.    *   Will detect if a door is entered more than once in sequence by the same
  47.        user, and will not count it.  (This option can be temporarily disabled
  48.        if desired.)
  49.    *   Supports Handles and Real Names.
  50.    *   Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.
  51.    *   Fully multi-node compatible.
  52.    *   Colour of bulletins can be changed if desired (even a 3-d shadow effect
  53.        is available).
  54.    *   Shows how many days the statistics cover (e.g. last 50 days).

  57. D-CaLL
  58. ======
  59.    *   A easy to use door which replaces RA's built-in "Today's Callers List"
  60.    *   Option to display `Last XX callers' to your system.
  61.    *   Masks local logons so that "0" baud calls show up as"ordinary" calls.
  62.        That way nobody can tell if somebody is logging on locally to your
  63.        BBS...
  64.    *   Supports Handles and Real Names.
  65.    *   Optionally excludes/includes the Sysop from the list
  66.    *   First time callers show up as "NEW USER".
  67.    *   Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.
  68.    *   Runs as a door and sets up in minutes!

  73. ====
  74.    *   NeXt is a utility which allows you to toggle the status of the "sysop
  75.        next" flag even though the user is outside of the BBS (i.e. he/she is
  76.        running a door or some other external program).
  77.    *   Works with or *without* a multitasker.

  81. ======
  82.    *   Replaces RA's built-in "User List"
  83.    *   Supports Handles and Real Names
  84.    *   Automatic exclusion of locked out or deleted users, and optional
  85.        exclusion of the SysOp, users who have the "hidden" attribute, and up
  86.        to 100 names from an external exclustion file.
  87.    *   Optionally includes the Sysop's name in the header
  88.    *   Brand new menu-driven configuration
  89.    *   Complete colour configuration allows each item in the bulletin to be
  90.        configured to your choice of foreground/background colour.
