  5. 1Pressing the keypad keys causes the highlighted bar to take the following
  6. 1actions:

  8. 1         UP and DOWN ARROWS          Moves bar up and down one line.
  9. 1       
  10. 1         PGUP and PGDN keys          Moves bar up and down one screen.
  11. 1       
  12. 1         HOME key                    Moves the event closes to the current
  13. 1                                     date to the top of the screen.
  14. 1
  15. 1         CTRL/HOME keys              Takes you to the top of file.
  16. 1
  17. 1         END key                     Takes you to the bottom of file.
  18. 1
  19. 1---                           ADDING A NEW EVENT                           ---
  20. 1To add an event to your database, simply press the letter A on the Daily
  21. 1Schedule Screen, then enter the information as ChronoLog asks for it.

  23. 1---                            VIEWING AN EVENT                            ---
  24. 1Move the highlighted bar to the event you wish to view, press the ENTER KEY.
  25. 1
  26. 1---                           MODIFYING AN EVENT                           ---
  27. 1Move the highlighted bar to the event you wish to modify, press the ENTER
  28. 1KEY.  The VIEW EVENT screen will appear.  Press M to modify the event.

  30. 1---                           DELETING AN EVENT                            ---
  31. 1Move the highlighted bar to the event you wish to delete, press the ENTER
  32. 1KEY.  The VIEW EVENT screen will appear.  Press D to delete the event.

  34. 1---               ADDING, MODIFYING, OR DELETING A CROSSKEY                ---
  35. 1Your CROSSKEY list can be maintained by pressing X on the Daily Schedule
  36. 1Screen.

  38. 1---                          SEARCHING FOR EVENTS                          ---
  39. 1Your data base may be searched for events based on embedded character
  40. 1strings, or attached CROSSKEYS.  Press S on the Daily Schedule Screen to
  41. 1bring up the SEARCH MENU.  If you would like to print the events found in
  42. 1the search, go immediately to the PRINT MENU and select "PRINT THE RESULTS
  43. 1OF THE LAST SEARCH".

  45. 1---                     DISPLAYING THE CROSSKEY MATRIX                     ---
  46. 1The CROSSKEY MATRIX may be displayed by pressing M on the Daily Schedule
  47. 1Screen.

  49. 1---             PRINTING CALENDARS, APPOINTMENT SCHEDULES, ETC.            ---
  50. 1Press P on the Daily Schedule Screen to bring up the ChronoLog PRINT MENU.
  51. 1From this menu you may print block calendars, appointment schedules, one-time
  52. 1events for a specified period of time, your list of recurring events, the
  53. 1PhoneLog, the ToDoList, or the results of the most recent event SEARCH.

  56. 1Press 3 on the Daily Schedule Screen to pop up a three-month calendar, then
  57. 1use the KEYPAD keys to scroll the calendars forward and backward in time.

  60. 1Press L on the Daily Schedule Screen to run PhoneLog, the ChronoLog phonebook.

  70. 1you to run any other DOS applications on your computer without leaving

  74. 1Press U on the Daily Schedule Screen to bring up the UTILITY menu.  This menu
  75. 1allows you to set various ChronoLog parameters and color schemes, make a
  76. 1copy of the ChronoLog system to pass to a friend, or register your copy       
  77. 1of ChronoLog.

  84. 1  BI-WEEKLY - Recurs once every two weeks on a specified weekday          
  85. 1  BI-MONTHLY - Recurs once every two months on a specified day            
  86. 1  SEMI-ANNUAL - Recurs twice a year on two specified dates                
  87. 1  MONTHLY VARYING - Recurs once a month on a relative day (3rd Tues)      
  88. 1  ANNUAL VARYING - Recurs once a year on a relative day (3rd Tues in Aug)
