* REZIP Companion to PKZ101.EXE { 07/04/89 }
1: Copy all programs to the UTILITY directory on your hard drive.
2: Set PATH= statement to include UTILITY directory.
3: All executables must have file attributes which allow reading.
REZIP.EXE *.* - REZIP C:\FILES\*.* - SWEEP REZIP *.* - etc..
This program will convert ZIP collections created by PKZ090.EXE and
PKZ092.EXE to the new increased compression levels obtainable from
PKZ101.EXE.
Options needed to run - none
Default = process all files and use IMPLODING compression technique
Options available to run
SET ZIPLEV=EA/EB/ES
Ex: SET ZIPLEV=EA, use IMPLODING on Ascii and SHRINKING on binary files
See PKWare documentation for further information on compression options.
SET ZIPTIME=ARCHIVE
Process only those files which have their archive bit set.
SET ZIPTIME=YYYYMMDD
Process only those files dated equal to or greater than the set date.
Ex: SET ZIPTIME=19890401, files dated => '1989 April 01' are processed.
If errors are encountered during processing, a file titled PKERRORS.LOG
will reside in the same directory as REZIP. This file contains a list of
.ZIP files that in someway are corrupted.
File date/time and attributes remain the same as prior to process.
Call the Home Computer (414-543-8929) or the Exec-Pc (414-964-5160) for the
expanded ZIP-KIT set of PKZ101.EXE utilities.
