Welcome to ABBREVIATOR! ABBREVIATOR is a memory resident utility designed
to expand user defined abbreviations into character strings up to 1,760
characters in length. ABBREVIATOR can enhance or add a Macro capability
to a word processor. It can also function as a pseudo BAT file, with the
additional benefit of communicating to both DOS and an application system.
ABBREVIATOR also has a DOS menu capability.
General Information:
- Be sure to make a backup copy of distribution disk.
- For a quick introduction to ABBREVIATOR follow directions in
the file QUICK.DOC. (Type PRINT QUICK.DOC)
- Review the documentation in file ABBREV.DOC.
- Use abbreviation REG to get a copy of registration form.
- ShareWare version is restricted to 25 abbreviations.

README This File
Asterisk (*) files MUST be kept together in the same directory, if using a
hard drive, or on a single floppy disk.
Plus (+) files can be placed in a directory which is generally available to
the system. Review the use of the DOS PATH command in your DOS manual.
The README and .DOC files can be deleted to conserve on space.
