  1.  This is a little note to inform everyone who plans to register
  2. PKZip 2.04e to expect a long wait before you receive your
  3. registered copy.  I ordered PKZip 2.04 from the PKWare BBS on Jan.
  4. 9 1993. It's now Feb 7, 1993 and I've yet to receive anything from
  5. PKWare.  A bulletin on the PKware BBS informs of a 7-10 day wait
  6. for order processing.  After waiting for two weeks I called PKWare
  7. to ask if my order had been sent to me.  I was informed that PKware 
  8. did not keep track of orders, thus they had no way of checking on
  9. my order. I was further informed that all the orders are being
  10. shipped in the order they were received.  Several subsequent calls
  11. over the past two weeks have resulted in similar responses. 
  12. However, on Feb. 3, 1993, I was told by the customer service
  13. representative that she would check on my order.  I was asked for
  14. a number at which I could be reached.  I've yet to hear from
  15. anyone. 
  16.   If this is the way PKWare handles registrations, much is left to
  17. be  desired.  The fact that they have no way to check the status of
  18. my order is inexcusable.  I would suggest to anyone who plans to
  19. register PKZip 2.04e to call PKWare to check on how far they are
  20. behind in shipping orders.  On one call I was told they were over
  21. a month behind.  It's funny that the bulletin on PKWare BBS still
  22. said a 7-10 days wait to process orders.  If anyone else is having,
