Distribution Disk Information.
The Checking executable file has been compressed to accommodate the
360K floppy disk size distributed by most vendors. You cannot run
this program from the distribution disk.
If you wish to evaluate Checking without putting it on your hard
disk you can do so by installing it to a floppy disk that has at
least 300K free and then making that disk's drive your current
drive and typing the word CHECKING at the DOS prompt. The data
files created in this manner will also be stored on the same floppy
disk.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
BBS Download Information.
You'll receive the same files as those listed above in your .ZIP
file, with the following exceptions:
1 INSTALL.DOC and INSTALL.EXE will not be included
2 You'll have CHECKING.EXE instead of EXPANDME.EXE
Once you have expanded your downloaded .ZIP file, you'll be able
to run My Little Realm's Checking program.
Note: If your downloaded file has an .EXE extension, simply type
the base name to expand it. For example, for Checking, the
self-expanding filename is MLRCHK20.EXE. To expand that file,
type MLRCHK20 at the DOS prompt.
To conserve hard disk space, you can put the files on a floppy and
run the evaluation version from that. Otherwise, put the files in
their own hard disk subdirectory. If you have other My Little
Realm programs, put Checking in the same subdirectory.
To start Checking, change to the drive/directory where you've put
the files and type the word CHECKING at the DOS prompt.
