  3. well, MPEG 2.0 for windows3.x is now available !
  4.  
  5. It is the digital Video player via a software only solution !
  6.  
  7. It displays in a 320x240 window (or 160x120)under win3.x a realtime decompressed
  8. digital video !
  9.  
  10. Decompression is done only by software and it reaches
  11. 30 frames/sec on a 486 PC !
  12.  
  13. The new version has a very enhanced picture quality, because the
  14. compression ratio with the encoder can now be adjusted !
  15.  
  16. The very new thing is the WAV-Sound support !
  17.  
  18. So if you have a soundcard inside your PC, you will have a real
  19. video-clip with accompagning sound !
  20.  
  21. We currently have 3 demo disks with the full featured Player, version
  22. 2.0 and lots of animations on the disks.
