  8. GUITAR TEACHER is a system for displaying guitar-chord diagrams.

  34. MANUAL.DAT   DOS text file.  May be printed using the DOS "PRINT" command, but
  35.              is printed with page numbers (12 pages in total) and proper
  36.              margins etc. using PRINT!.EXE.  It contains instructions on
  37.              running and using GUITAR TEACHER as well as valuable information
  38.              on tuning and chord structure.

  40. GUITAR TEACHER will perform certain tasks much faster when run from a hard
  41. disk.  Simply copy all the files with the DOS "COPY" command.  The manual
  42. provides further instructions on copying files.

  44. To run GUITAR TEACHER or the printing utility, the default directory must be
  45. the one where the GUITAR TEACHER files are stored.

  47. To run the printing utility type: print!

  49. To run GUITAR TEACHER type: gt
  50.  
  51. GUITAR TEACHER checks your computer's display adapter and automatically sets
  52. up the program for either a monochrome or color display.  However, some
  53. adapters cause GUITAR TEACHER to display in color mode when in fact a
  54. monochrome monitor is present.  This occurs most often with laptop Liquid
  55. Crystal Displays.  If your screen seems to be displaying GUITAR TEACHER or the
  56. printing utility improperly, run either program with a "/m" to force a
  57. monochrome display.  Type: gt/m
