created in the same position of the selected text. You will

\Spacing_Automatic
\Kerning_Automatic
Automatic Kerning
Kerning is the adjustment of spacing between characters. The purpose
of kerning is to make a word's spacing seem uniform and more pleasing
to the eye.
CADWriter can automatically use kerning information supplied with
LETTEREASE letter styles or PostScript Type 1 font files to do
automatic space adjustments as you type.
To turn kerning ON, press the F2 key to bring up the Document
Settings dialog. In the style settings area, check the box labeled
Auto Kern. Or press ALT+F5 to toggle Auto Kern on and off. The
Command Line will show 'ESC -' for OFF and 'ESC *' for ON.
Note: CADWriter must be installed in the same directory as the
LETTEREASE program if you want CADWriter to use the automatic
kerning feature with LETTEREASE fonts.
\ *******************************************************************
\Spacing_Manual
\Kerning_Manual
Manual Kerning
Kerning is the adjustment of spacing between characters. The purpose
of kerning is to make a words spacing seem uniform and more pleasing
to the eye.
You can manually adjust the spacing between two characters or a
selection of characters at any time by pressing the F5 key. This
starts a spacing adjustment function in which you use the following
keys to adjust spacing.

--- ------
Decrease Spacing.......................ARROW LEFT
Increase Spacing.......................ARROW RIGHT
Fine Decrease Spacing..................CTRL+ARROW LEFT
Fine Increase Spacing..................CTRL+ARROW RIGHT
Clear Spacing..........................ARROW UP
Accept spacing adjustment..............ENTER
Exit function without change...........ESC
Note: Unlike Automatic Kerning, Manual Kerning can be done with any
style or font file. It is not dependent on the presence of
kerning data files.
\ *******************************************************************
\Document
Document
CADWriter creates a new type of entity inside AutoCAD that we call a
CADWriter document. Stored within this entity is all the information
needed to define a document such as margin information, paragraph
groupings, text height, line spacing, paragraph justifications,
kerning information, etc.
This lets you do many things that cannot be done with standard
AutoCAD text entities. For instance, you can:
Move and resize the document margins. All paragraphs are
realigned automatically.
Change the text height without worrying about the lines of text
overlapping.
Change the line spacing independent of the text height.
Quickly change paragraph justifications.
Adjust the spacing between characters or a selection.
In technical terms, CADWriter documents are Unnamed Block references
defined in much the same way as hatch entities are in AutoCAD. This
also means that CADWriter documents can be exploded into individual
text entities with the explode command.
