Seek times Track to Track: 5ms Average: 16 ms Maximum: 35. ms Rotation Speed (+0.1%) 3485 RPM Data Transfer Rate 1.5 Mbyte/sec Start Time
typical: 15 sec
maximum: 20 sec Stop Time typical: 15 sec
maximum: 20 sec Interleave 1:1 Buffer Size 64K
The timing is measured through the interface with the drive
operating at nominal DC input voltages. The timing also
assumes that any I/O driver overhead and system hardware
dependency have been subtracted from timing measurements.
The average seek time is determined by averaging the seek
time for a minimum of 1000 seeks of random length over the
surface of the disk.

+5V DC: The maximum ripple allowed is 2% with equivalent
resistive load, without SCSI bus terminators installed.
Read/Write Mode: Occurs when data is being read from or
written to the disk.
Seek Mode: Occurs when the actuator is in motion.
Ready Mode: Occurs when the drive is not reading, writing,
or seeking. The spin motor is up to speed and a Drive Ready
condition exists. The actuator is residing on the last
accessed track.
Spin-up Mode: Occurs while the spindle motor is accelerating
from its rest state to its operational speed. During the
typical spin-up cycle, current on the 12 volt line may reach
up to 1000 mA for up to 500 microseconds. The specified
current is the averaged value over the spin-up cycle.
