  1.         Contacts, Mailing, and Events Database ("CMED") version 3.0

  3. To this program install, enter the following commands at the DOS prompt:
  4.  
  5.         'c:'         ---> move to your hard drive
  6.         'md \cmed'   ---> create a new sub-directory for the CMCD files
  7.         'cd \cmed'   ---> move into the new sub-directory
  8.         'a:cmed30'   ---> execute the distribution file ('a:' is the drive
  9.                           letter for the floppy drive containing the
  10.                           distribution files)
  11.         'cmed'       ---> run the program
  12.  
  13. Have fun.  This version of the program is the first 'formal' Release.  Version
  14.     1.0 was a functionally similar program written for Paradox 3.5. Version 2.0
  15.     was exactly the same code as 1.0, but compiled for Paradox 4.0.  Additional
  16.     improvements and enhancements, mostly to take advantage of the new 4.0 user
  17.     interface features, were added in the move to Version 3.0.  I have had this
  18.     code, and its predecessors, in use at two locations, with one of them in
  19.     constant service for several months and now using three simultaneous
  20.     databases (this version has been used for several weeks).  I hope that it
  21.     is mostly error free, but I can't guarantee anything.
