As with most real bass boats, the boat you control in BASS CLASS has an
aerated livewell. A livewell is a large compartment under the deck of your
boat that contains about 30 gallons of water. Fresh lake water, mixed with
air, is constantly circulated throughout the livewell, helping to keep your
fish healthy. If you forget to turn on the aerator after you put your fish
in the livewell, some (or all) of them may die. Get into the habit of turning
on the aerator after you put your first fish in the livewell.
To turn the livewell aerator on or off with your mouse, simply click on the
words ON or OFF under the LW AERATOR command in the command window. The
aeration system can also be controlled by pressing "A" on the keyboard.
To check the contents of your livewell, click on the CHK LIVEWELL command, or
press the "L" key. Keep in mind that the aeration system is battery powered,
and will use electricity while it's running. It makes no sense to turn on the
aerator until you actually have fish in the livewell.
