- *** SuperMonitor Release History: ***
- v1.0: Initial release June 19, 1995
-
- v1.0a Enhancement: When exiting program, now asks user if ok to
- abort sampling only if logging to disk. If not
- logging to disk, it aborts without asking user.
- Previously, it asked user if sampling
- regardless of LogToDisk state.
-
- v1.0b Bug fix: Program would not automatically update its
- display if UpdateDisplayRate was set to any
- value other than 1. The default is 18 so this
- was a visible bug. You could force the first
- update my moving the app or its icon. Now it
- correctly automatically updates its initial
- display.
-
- v1.0c Bug fix: "Memory" result in the Minimums window was
- permanently stuck at 0% free (100% used).
-
- v1.1 Bug fix: Fixed several bugs:
- 1. When app was minimized, and its system
- menu was pulled up, using start, stop, reset,
- or restart didn't update the title of the
- iconic app.
-
- 2. Help-About dialog box incorrectly
- displayed free system memory greater than 32M
- bytes.
-
- 3. If app was configured to remember its last
- "position", it would fail to save its
- position when windows was exiting/shutting
- down. It would remember its position if you
- simply exited the app with a File-Close
- command.
-
- 4. Under Windows 95 and NT, app now doesn't
- support a dynamic icon since 95/NT doesn't
- allow an app to do this. The app will now
- display its standard cube icon under 95 and
- NT.
-
- v1.1a Enhancement: Since v1.1 turned off dynamic icons for Windows
- NT and Windows 95, and since Windows NT 3.51
- doesn't yet have the new GUI of Windows 95,
- users wanted to have the old Win 3.1 dynamic
- icon look-and-feel of SuperMonitor v1.0 under
- Windows NT 3.51. Added the command line option
- /I+ to force SuperMonitor under NT to display
- its icons dynamically. Note: When NT gets its
- new look and feel, users will have to remove
- the /I+ option from the command line.
-
- v1.1b Win95 fix Found bug in Windows 95 that tells minimized
- SuperMonitor that it is Windowed rather than
- iconic. This is temporary fix until Msoft fixes
- Windows 95. If user wants to open it minimized,
- we open it windowed and then split second
- later, shrink to an icon. Their bug is in
- computation of OnActivate() and IsIconic()...
-
- Fixed Windows 95 bug where Rates settings
- sometimes did not get saved to disk.
-
- v1.1c Win95 fix Perfected work-around in run-minimized bug in
- v1.1b so looks perfect to user. Renamed view's
- "res"' to "rsrc" and "Mem" to "Memory".
-
- v1.2 Enhancement: Added ability to monitor DOS 1024K resource.
- Added Spy menu option to snoop on what programs
- are using DOS memory. Added multi-line iconic
- titles feature (see Options menu). Added KBytes
- in iconic title feature (see Options menu).
- Changed layout of iconic titles to indicate
- percentages or KBytes. Added more on-line help.
-
- Bug fix: Finally resolved bug where app was incorrectly
- restoring its state when it was run minimized
- and was saving its state (Options-Position
- enabled). This was known as the "APU" bug.
