  6. Password Generator is a MS-Windows program that automatically 
  7. generates lists of random passwords. Passwords can be generated using 
  8. a lot of different options like: password length,
  9. differentiate capital/non-capital letters and wheter a character should be
  10. repeated or not. Passwords can also be generated by using a 
  11. passwordmask built up by consonants, vowels, digits and other characters.
  12. Complete freedom to decide which characters to be used in the generation.

  18. Download/copy/place Password Generator files (look further down)
  19. to wherever you like.
  20. All the files must stay in the same directory.
  21. Works right away.
  22. No extra installation needed.
  23. Suggested storing directory: c:\passwgen
  24. Password Generator does not touch other MS-Windows files (like ini-files etc...).
  25. Demo-version should be put in a directory on it's own.
  26. Demo-version deinstalls itself by deleting all files in the directory
  27. it is run from and removing the directory.

  60. A good password should be one that does not have anything to do with the user
  61. or the users background/environment, and that is possible to pronounce. If it
  62. is not possible to pronounce like 'wh8qgft' it tends to be easely forgotten.
  63. With Password Generator, the user has complete freedom to decide self how the
  64. passwords should look like. But by using the so called passwordmask, it is 
  65. possible to generate passwords that is possible to pronounce and therfor not
  66. that easely forgoten. An example: CVCVCVC . A password like this generates
  67. randomly passwords that always consist of consonants and vowels in every other
  68. position starting with a consonant and ending with a consonant.
  69. Password Generator is very easy and intuitive to use. Try and failure is the
  70. best way to get experience.
