- FONT SAMPLER v1.0 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

- FontSampler is a Windows program that displays the names of all the
- fonts you have installed on your computer, then allows you to select
- from the list and display or print a sample of letters from these fonts.

- In the upper left of the program window you will see an alphabetized
- list of font names that FontSampler found installed on your computer.
- If there are more fonts than can be viewed at once, use the scroll bar
- on the right to scroll the list up or down.

- To display a sample alphabet of any font, click on the font name.

- You may also view Bold, Italic or Bold-Italic versions of any font by
- clicking on the appropriate button in the "Select Style" box below the
- font list.

- To change the size of the font display, move the scroll bar about the
- words "Font Size" to the right (to enlarge) or the left (to reduce) the
- size of the letters displayed. The font size range is 6 points to 72
- points.

- To change the size of the FontSampler window, drag the right edge,
- bottom edge, or lower right corner of the window with the mouse.

- To print a sample of a font, first select the font, then select the desired
- size (6-72 points) and any attributes (Bold, Italic, Bold-Italic), then
- click on "Print!" on the Main Menu or press ALT-P.

- To display this help file, click on "Help" or press ALT-H.

- To close FontSampler, click on "Exit!" on the menu bar, or press
- ALT-X.

- After the 30-day evaluation period (or before!) you may register the
- program on-line by filling in your registration information (name and
- address) and your preference for a 3.5" or 5.25" disk, then select
- "Print Registration Form" and mail it to the author:
