- Config For Windows - Additional Docs - Last updated 7/3/91
-
- To set up, setup CONFIG.EXE as you did with POWRBBS.ZIP.
-
- Enter your PowerBBS Group, and select NEW from Program Manager.
- Here is a sample:
-
- Description: CONFIG
- Commandline: C:\Powrbbs\Config C:\Powrbbs\Powrbbs.dat
-
- You can use the keyboard as specified in the PowerBBS Documentation.
-
- This documentation refers to the Mouse Button as the button you define in
- windows, whether it be the left or right button. Most of the time it is
- the left button. The Opposite Mouse Button refers to the right button if
- the left button is your normal button, or vice-versa.
-
- On the bottom of each screen is the PgDn, ESC, and PgUp options. You may
- press these keys on the keyboard, or press the Mouse Button when you are
- pointing to these boxes with your mouse.
-
- On the editting screens, you may go to a different box, either with the
- keyboard functions (up arrow, down arrow, etc). You can also use your
- mouse, by pointing on the box and clicking your Mouse Button. The cursor
- will also move exactly to where you point it in the box, as long as you do
- not point it past or before the current editting string or integer.
-
- Your Opposite Mouse Button acts the same as a RETURN on the keyboard.
-
- On any screen, if you screen the color Magenta on White Background, that means
- clicking the Mouse Button on that part of the screen, will result in the
- command to be executed.
-
- If you click the same item twice at the main menu, using the Mouse Button,
- that item will be executed. This eliminates the need to type return, or
- use the Opposite Mouse Button.
