  29.      In Windows95, After unzipping this file, simply go to the 'run' 
  30. dialog from the Start Menu, and run 'setup.exe' found in the directory 
  31. that you unzipped into.  Setup will guide you during the rest of the 
  32. installation, and full uninstall functionality is provided.

  43.      I'm giving this game to you, the Windows Gamer, because I am
  44. one of you.  I became frustrated with the games available, and lucky
  45. for me, I just happened to be a programmer.  They will only get better.

  47.      For now, here I am, slamming you with raytraced pixels as hard 
  48. as I possibly can in my first 32bit taunt.  Although it's not much, 
  49. this is just the first of many, fellow gamer, as I intend to make a 
  50. career out of rattling your Windows.

  67.     I am a free-lance developer who has been working professionally in 
  68. Windows since v3.0, and personally since 2.x (before icons!).  I am also an 
  69. avid gamer, and a wanna-be game developer.  Although my true game interests
  70. lie more in strategy, simming, and modem wargames, this simple little arcade
  71. game is intended to be a 'showcase' of a sort, an initial foray into the
  72. white-hot world of 32-bit Windows gaming.  Contact me if you can help in

  114. 7) SK-111 'Star Killer' <What is a 'High or True Color video mode'?>

  116. This refers to the display mode of windows.

  118. (High Color = 16bit = 32k or 65k colors.)
  119. (True Color = 24bit = 16.7M colors.)

  121.   If you are not sure what mode you are in,  go to 'display settings',
  122. and your mode should be listed.  If you cannot set your mode to 16bit 
  123. or 24bit, then you either do not have the proper drivers installed, or 
  124. your video card does not support these modes.  You should contact your
  125. video card manufacturer on how to get your card into high or true color 
  126. mode, or at least find out if your card can do it.
