  22. <h2>Local-only mode</h2>
  23. <p>Complete the following steps to run the Adaptec Storage Manager in local-only mode:

  26.   <li>In the "User preferences" window, click the <b>Remote access settings</b>
  27.     tab.<br>

  30.   <li>Select the <b>Local only</b> box.<br>
  31.     <br>

  33.   <li>Click <b>OK</b>. <br>

  36.   <li>Restart the Adaptec Storage Manager for this setting to take effect.
  37.     <p>The next time you start the Manager, TCP/IP networking will be disabled.
  38.       In local-only mode, you cannot monitor any remote systems and no remote
