  16. <p>The blocked state is reserved for RAID level-0 logical devices that are part
  17.   of the same disk group<br>
  18.   as one or more of the following:</p>
  19. <ul>
  20.   <li> A RAID level-1 logical device</li>
  21.   <li>A RAID level-5 logical device</li>
  22. </ul>
  23. <p>If a physical drive in such a disk group fails, the RAID level-0 logical devices
  24.   enter the failed<br>
  25.   state, while the other logical devices enter the degraded state.</p>
  26. <p>After you replace the failed physical drive, a rebuild operation starts and
  27.   reconstructs the data<br>
  28.   stored in any RAID level-1 or level-5 logical devices; at the same
  29.   time, the RAID<br>
  30.   level-0 logical devices enter the blocked state. RAID level-0 logical devices
  31.   cannot be rebuilt,<br>
  32.   since they do not contain redundant data.</p>
  33. <p>After the rebuild operation is completed, you can unblock the RAID level-0
  34.   logical devices and<br>
  35.   access them once again. However, the logical device might contain damaged data.
  36.   You must<br>
  37.   re-create, reinstall, or restore the data from the most recent backup disk or
  38.   tape to the RAID<br>
  39.   level-0 logical device.</p>
