  22. <p>Disk drive or portion of a disk drive used to create a logical device. A disk
  23.   can include RAID segments and available segments. A RAID segment is part of
  24.   a logical device; it can be used by only one logical device at a time. Available
  25.   segments can be used to define a new logical device. If the disk is not part
  26.   of any logical device, the entire disk is an available segment. </p>
