  20. <p>Depending on your controller's level of firmware, there are three settings
  21.   for read-ahead cache mode:</p>

  26. <p>You can change the read-ahead setting without destroying data in a logical
  27.   drive using the Adaptec Storage Manager in bootable-CD mode.</p>
