  9. <P>You can use this action <B>only</B> on <A href="gddd.htm">failed</A>
  10. physical drives that are <B>not</B> part of any disk group. Although the Adaptec Storage Manager
  11. software implicitly removes failed drives from the configuration, this action
  12. is useful if you want to remove a failed drive from the Physical devices view so you
  13. can view an accurate configuration.</P>
