  14. <p>You can identify the devices in a %SERVER%, such as a physical drive or enclosure,
  15.   because the light associated with the device you selected is flashing.</p>

  17.   <li>Click any object<strong> </strong>in the <a href="cusegui4.htm">Physical devices view</a><b> except</b> the following: <br>

  20.     <img src="images/s_tape.gif" width="28" height="20"> (Tape drive)<br>
  21.     <img src="images/s_remove.gif" width="28" height="20"> (Removable-media drive)<br>

  24.   <li>Right-click the appropriate <b>Blink</b>.
  25.     <p> The Adaptec Storage Manager sends a command to the firmware (microcode) to start
  26.       flashing one or more physical drive or enclosure lights, depending on the
  27.       following:

  29.       <li>The selected object</li>
  30.       <li>Whether the item and its subsystems are all controlled by an enclosure
  31.         device<br>
  32.       </li>

  34.     <p><b><img src="images/note.gif" width="15" height="17"> Note:</b> Blink
  35.       works only on controllers with a <a href="gsaf-te.htm">SAF-TE</a> processor
  36.       and the appropriate firmware. If a device light or a series of device lights
  37.       do not flash, it is because all or part of the subsystem is not controlled
  38.       by a SAF-TE processor.<br>
