  11. What's Web Expander ?

  14. 1. Web Expander launches any program, when you click any protocols from Netscape Navigator.
  15.  
  16. for example...
  17. a. Web Expander launches WS_FTP, when click 'ftp:'.
  18. b. Web Expander launches GetRight, when click 'http:' that URL has extention '.zip'.
  19. c. Web Expander launches Pegasus Mail, when click 'mailto:'.
  20. d. Web Expander launches Notepad, when click 'notepad:' that is user defined protocol.
  21. e. You can browse specified site by Internet Explorer.

  23. * WS_FTP is GUI based FTP client program.
  24. * Pegasus Mail is mail client program.
  25. * GetRight is http: download utility. It can suspend and resume to download.

  27. 2. Web Expander launches your favorite mail program, when you click mailto: from Microsoft
  28.    Internet Explorer, Microsoft NetMeeting and Netscape Navigator.

  37. 1. Web Expander supports PostPet for Windows Japanese Version.

  41. Web Expander is shareware. NOT FREEWARE. Please look 'How to register Web Expander' in Help File.

  43. Limitations
  44. -----------
  45. 1. Can't release webexp.exe from memory after running it by clicking any protocols.
  46.    You can force release webexp.exe to use terminate program dialog (CTRL+ALT+DEL).
  47. 2. Sometime can't post from form in HTML.
  48.    If you click submit button in HTML form, Web Expander launch external mail program 
  49.    and new empty message.
  50.    In this case, you may disable Web Expander by Web Expander Controller.
  51. 3. Only, Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 Japanese Edition for Windows 95 was confirmed
  52.    to work with Web Expander.
  53.    Internet Explorers of other version aren't confirmed to work with Web Expander,yet.
  54. 4. If you use Microsoft RegClean, Web Expander often doesn't work.

  56. End user license agreement
  57. --------------------------
  58.  
  59. 1. Tetsuya Kakura ("Developer") grants to you a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable,
  60.    license to use this the Web Expander ("Product").
  61.    If you do not agree to the terms of this agreement, promptly remove the Products
  62.    together will all copies from you computer. The Product is protected
  63.    by JAPAN copyright law and international treaty provisions.
  64.  
  65. 2. Product is shareware. NOT FREEWARE. You must pay shareware fee to Developer,
  66.    if you continue to use after evaluation term.
  67.  
  68. 3. The Developer dose not warrant any damages, errors and losses that is caused
  69.    by the Product. The Developer will not support the Product.
  70.  
  71. 4. The evaluation term is 4 weeks since begin to use the Product. If you don't pay
  72.    shareware fee over evaluation term, you must remove the product together with all copies
  73.    from your computer. When you remove the product, this agreement will terminate.

  75. 5. Redistribution. You can't redistribute the Product.
  76.    The Developer may accepts redistribution the Product, if you keep following conditions:
  77.    (a) You must contact the Developer before redistribution.
  78.    (b) Never change distributed file.
