  1. Who Shot Johnny Rock
  2.   Technical Topic:  making a systems boot disk
  3.  
  4.   To make a systems boot disk, do the following:
  5.      1. place a new floppy disk into drive A.
  6.      2. goto the root directory of your C drive. type:
  7.             c:  [enter]
  8.             cd\ [enter]
  9.      3. format the disk by typing:
  10.           (3 1/2 double sided)  format a: /f:720kb /u /s    [enter]
  11.           (3 1/2 high density)  format a: /f:1.44mb /u /s   [enter]
  12.           (5 1/4 double sided)  format a: /f:360kb /u /s    [enter]
  13.           (5 1/4 high density)  format a: /f:1.2mb /u /s    [enter]
  14.      4. copy the config.sys and autoexec.bat file to the floppy:
  15.           copy config.sys a:\    [enter]
  16.           copy autoexec.bat a:\  [enter]
  17.   
  18.   You are now ready to edit the files !
  19.  
  20. NOTE: By doing the above procedure, you will be removing any previously stored
  21.       data located on the disk.  American Laser Games will NOT take
  22.       responsibility for ANY inadvertantly lost data.
