  9. This file represents a Copper Seven, an Intra uterine Device, (IUD)
  10. This device has been in use since 1953, and is still used extensivly
  11. in undeveloped countries.

  13. The use of IUD's in general (in the US) have now been supplanted by
  14.  the Intramuscular Contreceptive Delivery System. ( a set of five removable
  15. small plastic tubes inserted surgically into the forearm (typically)
  16. wich deliver small doses of contriceptives continiously for up to 6 years)
