  5.     You've  just  bought that brand new AGA machine, and immediately decide
  6. to  switch  the  mouse  pointer  to  Hires  mode  via the new Prefs/Pointer
  7. program.   Very  happy  with your new pointer, you then decide to load your
  8. favourite  terminal  program  (or  anything  that  uses  sprites), and what
  9. happens?   The  mouse  pointer  changes the pointer resolution again, going
  10. into  Super-Hires  mode!   This  looks  extremely  ugly  with  the standard
  11. pointer. :-(

  13.     This program is nothing more than a quick hack.  What it does is simply
  14. to  display  a  transparent  sprite  on  the screen, which causes the mouse
  15. pointer  to  go  into Super-Hires mode.  When you combine this with the new
  16. supplied  pointer  graphic, what you have is now a STABLE (resolution-wise)
  17. mouse pointer, and one less sprite.
