  10. BACKUP YOUR \DELPHI\BIN\COMPLIB.DCL  Better safe than sorry.

  16. Delete all ImageLib 3.0 *.PAS and *.DCU from your system.
  17. Delete PMReg.pas and PMReg.dcr from your system if any.
  18.

  20. The installation has copied all ImageLib VCL files onto your
  21. harddrive.  Copy these VCL files into a directory containing
  22. your 3rd party added VCL's:
  23.  
  24. Copy IMGLIB31.HLP to your \DELPHI\BIN directory.
  25. Copy IMGLIB31.KWF to your \DELPHI\HELP directory.
  26.  
  27. Execute delphi's HelpInst and open delphi.hdx which is located in
  28. your \DELPHI\BIN. Add a new Keyword file by the name IMGLIB31.KWF.
  29. IMGLIB31.KWF can be found \DELPHI\HELP. Save delphi.hdx which will
  30. automatically rebuild your delphi help file.

  32. Execute Delphi. In Delphi select Options\Install components\ Add and browse
  33. your 3rd party added VCLs directory. Select PMREG.PAS and press the OK button.

  35. After the library is rebuilt, you will notice 15 new icons on your Delphi
  36. toolbar under PMULTIIMAGE.

  39. Installation Troubleshooting:
  40.  
  41. The Delphi Library searchpath is very short (127 characters). The more
  42. VCL components you add, the larger your searchpath. Should you get a
  43. message PMREG.PAS or  PMREG.DCU not found, then your path is being truncated,
  44. the solution is to copy several 3rd party VCLs into one directory and delete
  45. the freed directories from your searchpath.
  46.  
  47. If Complib cannot find SKY16DEM.DLL you will notice that all Icons are gone
  48. from your delphi toolbar and you get a message COMPLIB.DCL not found. No Panic,
  49. Just copy SKY16DEM.DLL to a directory on your path or to the windows\system
  50. directory and restore your backed up complib.

  52. If Unit version missmatch occurs while compiling the complib you have
  53. either an Unpatched version of Delphi or you have changed the Delphi
  54. VCL source code. Reinstall or Patch Delphi and Delphi VCL Source code.

  56. If Duplicate Resource occurs while compiling the complib you might have
  57. still PMREG.DCR from imagelib 3.0 on your system. Delete PMReg.DCR.
