  1. The following archives are available at this site:

  3. com_err        Sources for the MIT Student Information Processing
  4.         Board (SIPB) "com_err" error-handling package.
  5. delete        Sources for the Project Athena "delete" package, by
  6.         Jonathan Kamens.
  7. popmail        An enhanced version of the UCB mail program that
  8.         understands how to do POP.
  9. post_faq    Source code and patches for the "post_faq" utility for
  10.         posting periodic postings to the Usenet.
  11. usenet-by-group    Regular informational postings from various newsgroups
  12.         on the Usenet, grouped into archives by newsgroup.
  13.         For example, the postings from comp.unix.questions
  14.         appear in the usenet-by-group/comp.unix.questions
  15.         archive.
  16. usenet-by-hierarchy
  17.         The same Usenet informational postings as those found
  18.         in the usenet-by-group archive, but arranged
  19.         hierarchically, e.g., the postings from
  20.         comp.unix.questions appear in
  21.         usenet-by-hierarchy/comp/unix/questions.
  22. usenet        A link to the "usenet-by-group" archive mentioned
  23.         above (i.e., referencing the "usenet" archive is
  24.         equivalent ot referencing the "usenet-by-group"
  25.         archive).
  26. usenet-addresses
  27.         This directory contains a database of addresses which
  28.         is updated periodically from the addresses in an
  29.         entire Usenet news spool.  You cannot actually
  30.         retrieve any files from this archive via the mail
  31.         server.  Instead, when you try to request a file from
  32.         this archive, it is assumed to be a name for which you
  33.         want to search in the list of addresses.  For more
  34.         information about how to search, send the command
  35.         "send usenet-addresses/help".
  36. voting        Another virtual archive (like usenet-addresses).  This
  37.         archive does not actually contain any files; instead,
  38.         it is used to conduct mail votes of various votes.
  39.         Use "send voting/index" to get a list of current
  40.         votes.
  41. wipe        Directory.
  42.         A program for the security-conscious.  Writes
  43.         zeros over disk files.  (As advertised
  44.         on alt.security.pgp and posted to alt.sources.)
  45. xscreensaver    Sources for the X screen-locking program
  46.         "xscreensaver."
