  9. IMPORTANT: Read the documentation first before usage!

  11. CandyFactory will take a black&white mask picture as an input and
  12. allow you to add shading, specular highlights,ambient light,variable
  13. bevels, normal and diffuse glows, softshadows, noisebump, metal
  14. effects etc.

  16. This will allow you to create things like flashy webgraphics, logo's
  17. and menubuttons.

  19. CandyFactory tries to give fast feedback on changes as much as
  20. possible. The position of the lightsource can be changed in
  21. realtime as can the material settings, amongst other things.
  22. Using a PowerUP board will give many sliders like the noisebump
  23. setting sliders realtime feedback as well and will give a 5 to tenfold
  24. speed increase over a 060.

  26. Contrary to what is stated in the guide file, CandyFactory is
  27. promotable to a graphicscard screen.

  29. The next version already has a screenmode requester as well as
  30. loading/saving/swap and copy of material settings.
