If you would like to change your standard Mac folders to Monster ƒolders, you will need the program ResEdit.  Start by opening your System Folder and then your Preferences folder.  Locate your Finder Preferences file and Duplicate it (Command-D).  Then drag the Finder Preferences copy into your Hard Drive.  Launch the program ResEdit and open the Finder Preferences copy and then open Monster ƒolder icons.

  27. Select All (Command-A) of the resources in the Monster ƒolder icons and Copy them (Command-C).

  44. Click your cursor on the Finder Preferences copy, then Paste (Command-V), Save (Command-S) and Quit (Command-Q).

Drag your original Finder Preferences file from your Preferences folder and put it in the Trash, but don't empty it.  Open your Hard Drive and delete the word copy and the space in front of the word copy from your Finder Preferences copy.  Place this modified Finder Preferences file into your Preferences folder.  Now close all folders and Restart your Mac.  Drag your original Finder Preferences file out of the Trash and rename it OriginalFinder Preferences.  Store the OriginalFinder Preferences file in a folder that you keep your important stuff in, or copy it onto a floppy disk.  That's it, you're done.  Monster ƒolders are free.
