  1. Periodic Table v2.01 - ReadMe.TXT

  3. This is a maintenance release of Periodic Table.  It has fixed
  4. any known bugs and added a Maximize on Startup menu command.
  5. See the PTOE.WRI files for details.  Please note that this
  6. release is FREE for registered users of Periodic Table 2.0
  7.  
  8. This version of Periodic Table requires Windows 3.1.  If it is
  9. installed on a Windows 3.0 system, it will not run.
  10.  
  11. If you received Periodic Table as a ZIP file, and you are using 
  12. 360kb disks, please unzip PTDISK1.ZIP and PTDISK2.ZIP to separate
  13. diskettes and label them with the names:
  14.  
  15.   PERIODIC TABLE INSTALLATION DISK
  16.   PERIODIC TABLE DOCUMENT DISK
  17.  
  18. respectivly.  If you are unziping the files to a disk format 
  19. greater than 360kb, then you can unzip both files to the same 
  20. diskette.

  22. If you received Periodic Table on diskette, and your disk format 
  23. is greater than 360kb, then you will receive only one diskette 
  24. with all files on it.  The installation will proceed normally 
  25. without asking you to change diskettes.

  27. Insert your Installation Disk in drive A:  Then from the File/Run 
  28. command of either Program Manager or File Manager type:

  32. Then just follow the screen prompts.

  39. Several files in this application are compressed.  If you don't
  40. use the installation program or you need to copy one of the
  41. original files onto your hard disk, use the UNPACK.EXE file
  42. located in your installation directory or on the install disk.

  46. If you received Periodic Table as a ZIP file, you should find the 
  47. following files included.  If you received Periodic Table on diskette,
  48. you should check to see that the files listed as being on Disk 1 or 
  49. Disk 2 are on the proper diskettes.

  74. Files that end in a '$' sign are packed.  To copy them 
  75. individually to your hard disk, you will need to use the 
  76. UNPACK.EXE program provided on the Document Disk and in your
  77. installation directory.
