Click the Windows Start button, go to Programs, click on the wsexprsp icon. Log on using user # "3" and password "super" (all lowercase). Once the program opens, click the new button, type 100001 in the part number field (curser is already there) and press enter. The item will drop down to the Added Items grid. Press the end key to go to the payment screen. Select "Cash" as payment media, press enter and put in the amout of the payment. Press enter twice, check change due and press enter again. You are now ready for the next sale.
Troubleshooting: If you have your "long date" format in Windows Regional Settings set to include to the weekday name spelled out (Monday, Tuesday . . . ), you will encounter the "data type conversion error 3421". It is caused by the way the date control reads the long date. If you have this problem, go into the Windows Control Panel and open up the Regional Settings. In Regional Settings, click on the date tab and select a long date format that does NOT include "dddd".
