IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY. This GameWizards License Agreement ("License Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and GameWizards Inc. for the GameWizards software product accompanying this License Agreement, which includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE, you agree to be bound by the terms of this License Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this License Agreement, do not install or use the SOFTWARE.

  17. SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE
  18. The Software is owned by GameWizards or its suppliers and is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The Software is licensed, not sold.

  20. 1    GRANT OF LICENSE. GameWizards grants to you the right to install and use the Software on one computer within your household or organization running a licensed copy of Windows 95 or  Windows NT. 
  21. 2    RESTRICTIONS.  You may not reverse engineer, or decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent such foregoing restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law. You may not rent, lease, or transfer the Software. GameWizardsreserves all rights not expressly granted herein. 
  22. Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
  23.      Separation of Components. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed as a single product. Its component parts may not be separated for use on more than one computer.

  34. To use this GameWizards application, your system must meet
  35. the following minimal requirements:

  37.    * 486/66 DX or better PC running Microsoft Windows 95
  38.       Windows NT(tm) Workstation 3.51 or later.

  40.    * 8 MB RAM (16 MB Preferred) for Windows 95.

  42.   * 16 MB RAM (32 MB Preferred) for Windows NT(tm) Workstation .

  44.    * 4 MB free disk space.

  46.    * 640 x 480 display with 256 colors.
  47.  
  48.    * A sound card with a Windows Sound driver.
  49.      (The GameWizards application is not compatible with the
  50.      PC Speaker program or other software programs which
  51.      simulate a sound card).

  53.    * A 4X CD-ROM Drive or better.

  59. Installation Instructions for Windows(r) 95 and Windows(r) NT(tm) Workstation 
  60.  
  61. 1). Place the GameWizards CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. 
  62.  
  63. 2). Select Run from the Taskbar Start menu. 
  64.  
  65. 3). In the run dialog box type  D:\SETUP, where D is the letter that designates your CD-ROM drive then press the OK button.
  66.  
  67. 4). Choose the directory you wish to install the software to.  We recommend you install to the default location.

  73. 1.) Running this application on a Toshiba Satellite Pro 425CDT laptop, and using a Chips & Technologies Accelerator (new) video adapter driver may produce the following error :
  74.  
  75.       "Ddhelp caused an exception 03H in module CHTDD32.DLL".  
  76.  
  77. Ddhelp is a Microsoft DirectX technology helper executable used to improve video playback by 
  78. bypassing Windows GDI and sending video commands directly to the video hardware.  
  79. CHTDD32.DLL is a Chips & Technologies Direct Draw HAL Driver for Chips & Technologies Super 
  80. VGA's.

  82. Resolution:
  83. Select another video driver from the list of compatible display adapter drivers for your laptop.
  84. This problem has been reported to Microsoft ActiveMovie Technical Support.
