  10.         SYMPTOM:  Access Server locks when user attempts to jump to a 3270 
  11.                   session.

  13. ISSUE/PROBLEM 
  14. Access Server provides 3270 sessions only if set up properly. 
  15.

  17. SOLUTION 
  18. 1. Version 1.01 supports only 6 DOS sessions utilizing 3270.  Version 1.0 
  19. supports only one (1). 
  20.  
  21. 2. In addition to the Access Server software you must have a NetWare 3270 
  22. Gateway version 1.1 or higher and an already existing Netware 3270 
  23. Workstation version 1.1 or higher. 
  24.  
  25. 3. It is recommended that you have the latest version of Access Server and 
  26. the latest PTF.  At this date that is version 1.01 with PTF 245. 
  27.  
  28. 4. Set up as follows: 
  29.     A. Create a special directory. 
  30.     B. Place a copy of NetWare 3270 Workstation in the directory.  
  31.     C. Copy the files that are on the "3270 disk" that came with Access Server  
  32.     over those files. 
  33.     D. IMPORTANT: Read and follow the READ.ME which is on the Access Server 
  34.     3270 disk. 
  35.     D. Enable "Special Keyboard Handler". 
  36.     E. Do not attempt to use the JUMP key to hot key from DOS to 3270.  Use 
  37.     the JUMP.EXE that came with Access Server instead.
