  17. 1. This version of NetWare (R) for SAA* Administrator requires NetWare for
  18.    SAA, version 2.0 PTF.
  19.  
  20. 2. NetWare Requestor for DOS/Windows* must be installed on your workstation,
  21.    and MS Windows must be configured for NetWare (through the MS Windows 
  22.    Setup program).  We recommend that the VLM based NetWare Requestor
  23.    provided with NetWare 3.12 or above be used with this product.

  25. 3. If you encounter network error messages, you are probably in 
  26.    a large network enviroment with longer delays. You can increase the 
  27.    MINIMUM SPX RETRIES, SPX ABORT TIMEOUT and SPX LISTEN TIMEOUT values
  28.    in the NET.CFG file to prevent these errors from occuring.

  31. 3.0  CORRECTIONS TO MANUAL

  34. 1. The following points are corrections to the manual titled,
  35.    "Configuring NetWare for SAA from MS Windows."
  36.  
  37.    a.  Additional RAM (Correction to page 2-2)
  38.  
  39.        In order to fully support the NetWare for SAA Administrator 
  40.        AND its online Help facility, three megabytes of additional RAM, 
  41.        rather than two megabytes, are required on the workstation 
  42.        running the NetWare for SAA Administrator program.

  44.    b.  "Server model number" and "Server serial number" Fields 
  45.        (Correction to page 5-4)
  46.  
  47.        In both the "Server model number" and "Server serial number"
  48.        fields in the NetWare for SAA Administrator Server Description 
  49.        page, enter only numeric characters (0 to 9) and uppercase 
  50.        alphabetic characters (A to Z).  The NetView* management 
  51.        program, which reads these fields, does not support lowercase 
  52.        alphabetic characters or special characters in these fields.
