  30. SYMPTOM:
  31.  
  32. NET commands on an IBM XT fail.
  33.  
  34. CAUSE
  35.  
  36. This has been fixed with a recompile of the libraries that
  37. NET.EXE calls  however this NET (7/15/94) will only run at the
  38. command line and cannot use the GUI portion of the utility.  The
  39. newer NET.EXE dated 7/15/94 fixes the problem of NET not working
  40. on IBM XTs but does not fix the problem of interfacing with the
  41. GUI.

  43. SOLUTION: 
  44.  
  45. The only way to workaround this problem is for administration
  46. functions to remotely administer the SERVER that is running on
  47. the IBM XT.  For mapping and capturing functions only command
  48. line will currently work with the new NET.EXE.
  49.
