  16. This file contains PAPFIX3.NLM.  The file modifies APPLETLK.NLM v3.0 to fix
  17. a problem with the ATPS.NLM connecting to certain non-Apple printers, which
  18. require an incrementing value in the WaitTime field of PAP OpenConn
  19. packets.  The visible symptoms are messages such as "Printer busy,
  20. status-idle," and system may not advertise for Macintosh.  Use this patch
  21. with v2.20 PATCHMAN.NLM.  This patch is included in 311PT1.EXE.

  44. This is PAPFIX3.NLM.  It modifies APPLETLK.NLM v3.0 to resolve a problem
  45. that ATPS.NLM has connecting to certain non-Apple printers that require an
  46. incrementing value in the WaitTime field of PAP OpenConn packets.

  48. The symptom of this problem visible to users would be that ATPS.NLM
  49. generates messages such as "Printer busy, status- idle" and may not
  50. advertise the affected queue on AppleTalk.  This patch is for v3.0 NetWare
  51. for Macintosh.  To use this patch load the new v2.20 PATCHMAN.NLM first and
  52. then load the PAPFIX3.NLM.  This problem is resolved with v3.01 NetWare for
  53. Macintosh.
