  16. This file contains PAPFIX1.NLM.  This NLM is a patch for APPLETLK.NLM v3.0.
  17.  The patch fixes a problem where server PAP sessions of greater than 255
  18. transactions would be interrupted and fail.  The AppleTalk stack would then
  19. generate an error message stating that the Tickle Timer popped on the
  20. affected connection.  This patch is also included in 311PT1.EXE.

  45. This is PAPFIX1.NLM.  It is a patch to APPLETLK.NLM v3.0. This patch
  46. resolves a problem where server PAP sessions of greater than 255
  47. transactions would be interrupted and fail.  The AppleTalk stack would then
  48. generate an error message stating that the Tickle Timer popped on the
  49. affected connection.

  51. This problem would cause ATPS.NLM to consistently fail to print files over
  52. one megabyte in size or to return font lists greater than 255 entries to
  53. Macintosh clients.  In these circumstances, ATPS would return the message
  54. "PAP write: no such device or address".

  56. To use this patch, first load the new v2.20 PATCHMAN.NLM, and then load the
  57. PAPFIX1.NLM.  This patch is for use with v3.0 NetWare for Macintosh; the
  58. problem is resolved with v3.01 NetWare for Macintosh.
