  44. ASSUMPTIONS:
  45.  
  46. 1.  The file IBMDOS.314 is in the root directory of your C:\ drive.
  47. 2.  TaskMAX is not loaded.

  50. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
  51.  
  52. 1.  Remove the attributes from the current working copy of IBMDOS.COM
  53.  
  54.         From the C prompt:
  55.              Type: ATTRIB -RSH IBMDOS.COM
  56.              Press <ENTER>
  57.  
  58. 2.  Make a backup copy of IBMDOS.COM
  59.  
  60.              Type: COPY IBMDOS.COM C:\DRDOS\IBMDOS.OLD
  61.              Press <ENTER>
  62.  
  63. 3.  Replace the original IBMDOS.COM with the patched IBMDOS.314
  64.

  66.              Type: COPY IBMDOS.314 IBMDOS.COM
  67.              Press <ENTER>

  69. 4.  Verify the copied file is the correct size, date and checksum
  70.  
  71.              Type: CD \
  72.         From the C prompt:
  73.              Type: XDIR IBMDOS.COM /C
  74.              Press <ENTER>

  76.         The following message will display:
