  4.   DSPACE is a disk space management utility that
  5.  lets you limit a user's disk space (by volume
  6.  on a NetWare 386 server, or by server on a
  7.  NetWare 286 server). On a NetWare 386 server
  8.  you can also limit the maximum size of a
  9.  directory and its subdirectories.
  10.  To choose an option, highlight the option,
  11.  then press <Enter>.
  12.  The Main Menu options are described on the
  13.  next screens.

  15.   Change File Server
  16.      Lets you choose which server to work with.
  17.  User Restrictions 
  18.      Lets you limit a user's disk space usage
  19.      on the current server. You are asked to
  20.      select a user, and then a volume on a 386
  21.      server. Then you can view or modify the
  22.      user's restrictions.

  24.   Directory Restrictions (386 only) 
  25.      Lets you select a directory and view the
  26.      directory's restrictions, available space,
  27.      and minimum directory size for directories
  28.      in the path.
  29.      If you have supervisor rights in a
  30.      directory's parent, you can modify the
  31.      restriction.

  33.   This field determines whether or not there
  34.  will be a space restriction for the selected
  35.  user on the selected server.
  36.  To place a restriction on the user, type Yes.
  37.  Then go to the Available field to enter the 
  38.  actual restriction.
  39.  To remove all restrictions, type No.
  40.  Press <Escape> to exit.

  42.   This form lets you limit the amount of space
  43.  the user can use on the volume. The fields are
  44.  described on the next screens.
  45.  To restrict the user's disk usage, set the
  46.  Limit Space field to Yes and enter the
  47.  limitation in the Available field. 
  48.  To remove a space restriction, set the Limit
  49.  Space field to No.
  50.  Press <Escape> to return to the list of

  54.      Gives the user's name. 
  55.  Volume (386 only)
  56.      Gives the volume name.
  57.   Limit Space
  58.      Tells whether or not the user has a disk
  59.      space limit. 
  60.  Available
  61.      Shows the user's space restriction, if 
  62.      any.

  65.      Shows the amount of space currently in use
  66.      by the user.

  68.   Your username and a list of the users you
  69.  manage on the current server are displayed. 
  70.  To view volume space restrictions for a user,
  71.  highlight the username and press <Enter>.

  74.   Displayed is a list of the volumes defined on
  75.  the current server. 
  76.  Highlight the volume you want to set
  77.  limitations for and press <Enter>.

  80.   This field determines whether or not there
  81.  will be a space restriction for the selected
  82.  user on the selected volume.  
  83.  To place a restriction on the user, type Yes.

  94.   The space limitation information for the
  95.  selected directory is displayed. The fields
  96.  are described below:
  97.  Path Space Limit
  98.      Contains the minimum size limit for all
  99.      the directories along the selected path.
  100.      If a directory above the selected
  101.      directory has a smaller space limit, that
  102.      limit will be enforced on the current
  103.      directory.

  105.   Limit Space 
  106.      Tells if there is a space restriction for
  107.      the current directory. To remove a
  108.      previous restriction, change this field to
  109.      No. To give the directory a restriction,
  110.      change this field to Yes, and then set the
  111.      restriction in the Directory Space Limit
  112.      field.
  113.  Directory Space Limit
  114.      Contains the size restriction on the
  115.      selected directory if any has been
  116.      specified. To change the restriction, edit
  117.      this field.

  119.   Currently Available
  120.      Contains the space currently available in
  121.      the selected directory. This field
  122.      reflects the path space limit as well as
  123.      the amount of space in use by the selected
  124.      directory's subdirectories and the free
  125.      space on the volume.

  127.   This field determines whether or not there
  128.  will be a space restriction for the selected
  129.  directory.  
  130.  To place a restriction on the directory, type
  131.  Yes. Then go to the Directory Space Limit field
  132.  to enter the restriction.

  137.  directory is displayed in KB. 1024K is the
  138.  default space restriction.

  157.      Shows whether this server is now enforcing
  158.      disk restrictions. If YES, the values of
  159.      the Limit Space and Available options will
  160.      affect disk use by the user. If NO, they
  161.      will be of not effect until the server is
  162.      brought up with disk restrictions
