  16. This file allows remapping of network printers to queues in Print Manager
  17. without rebooting.  Previously if printer mappings were changed, print jobs
  18. would attempt to print at the physical port rather than at a network
  19. printer.  You can now disable all message popups using a new NET.CFG.

  38. This README file of NWSPOL.EXE accompanies NWSPOOL.EXE for NetWare
  39. Requester v1.3.

  42. PURPOSES ADDRESSED
  43. ------------------

  45. 1. You can now remap network printers to queues in Print Manager without
  46. rebooting.  Previously if you changed your printer mappings, print jobs
  47. would attempt to print at the physical port rather than at a network

  50. 2. You can now disable all message popups using a new NET.CFG option:

  52.           daemon configuration
  53.              message timeout <NUMBER>

  56. Replace <NUMBER> with the number of milliseconds you want the message to
  57. stay on the screen.  Specify 0 (zero) milliseconds to disable popup
  58. messages entirely. Specify -1 (negative one) to cause popup messages to
  59. remain on the screen until a key is pressed.

  61. Note: This NET.CFG option only affects errors that popup and tell you to
  62. "Press <Esc> to continue."
