  17. This file contains MAKEUSER.EXE v3.62 for NetWare 3.11 and v2.2.  The file
  18. fixes a problem when attempting to delete a users, home directory, and
  19. subdirectories. In some cases the users home directory was deleted and the
  20. subdirectory was then made the home directory.

  42. This readme file accompanies MAKEUSER.EXE v3.62 for NetWare v3.11 and
  43. v2.2.
  44.  
  45. Purpose:
  46. When attempting to delete users, their home directories, and
  47. subdirectories, MAKEUSER was inconsistent.  Some of the deleted users'
  48. subdirectories and home directories were not being deleted as they should.
  49. In some cases the users home directory was deleted and the subdirectory was
  50. then made the home directory.
  51.  
  52. This version of MAKEUSER fixes this problem and deletes all appropriate
  53. directories.

  55. To install this utility:
  56.  
  57. 1)    Flag MAKEUSER.EXE and MAKEUSER.HLP as SRW (Sharable Read Write) in
  58. the PUBLIC directory.
  59.  
  60. 2)    Rename MAKEUSER.EXE and MAKEUSER.HLP to MAKEUSER.old and MAKEUSER.sav
  61. in the PUBLIC directory for backup purposes.
  62.  
  63. 3)    Copy MAKEUSER.EXE and MAKEUSER.HLP to the PUBLIC directory on your
  64. system.
  65.  
  66. 4)    Flag the new copy of MAKEUSER.EXE and MAKEUSER.HLP back to SRO
  67. (Sharable Read-Only).
