  16. This file contains a generic NetBIOS driver. The patch corrects problems
  17. found in the GENBIOS drivers supplied with NetWare v2.0a. Technical
  18. Bulletin 1-148 refers to this problem.

  46. A few problems have been discovered in the GENBIOS drivers supplied with
  47. Advanced NetWare/86 2.0a.
  48.  
  49. Problems:
  50.  
  51.    1.Any station left unattended for an extended length of time
  52.      will be automatically logged off of the network.
  53.  
  54.    2.A Shell takes more time than normal to attach to the
  55.      server.
  56.  
  57.    3.Shells tie up the server when they cannot receive data.

  59. Solution:
  60.  
  61. The problem is corrected by replacing the GENBIOS shell and OS drivers
  62. supplied with Advanced NetWare/86 2.0a with the corrected versions
  63. available on NetWire.
  64.  
  65. These new drivers should be copied onto working copies of your Advanced
  66. NetWare/86 2.0a GENOS-1a and GENSH-1 diskettes.

  68. The new drivers ACOMDRV.OBJ, BCOMDRV.OBJ, CCOMDRV.OBJ, and DCOMDRV.OBJ must
  69. be copied into the GENBIOS directory of your GENOS-1A diskette and the
  70. SHELLDRV.OBJ must be copied into the GENBIOS directory of your GENSH-1
  71. diskette.  These drivers will only work with the Advanced NetWare 86.
