  36.              Folio VIEWS 1.2 to 1.3 Window Conversion Utility

  38. About WIN2WIN
  39.  
  40. WIN2WIN is a utility used to quickly convert between Folio Views 1.3 WIN to
  41. NFolio 1.2 WIN files and vice versa.
  42.  
  43. Note:  The BUYERS.WIN file was created in the 1.3 format and must be
  44. converted to 1.2 in order to be read with NFOLIO.EXE that is shipped with
  45. versions of NetWare previous to NetWare 386.
  46. -NFOLIO is the executable program for the NetWare Help Utility.  If you are
  47. using NetWare 386, conversion of the WIN file will not be necessary.

  49. Using WIN2WIN
  50.  
  51. To run WIN2WIN type:
  52.  
  53.      WIN2WIN <WIN filename>
  54.  
  55. Where <WIN filename> is the filename of a WIN file that you want to
  56. convert.  If the WIN file is in 1.3 format it will be converted to 1.2 and
  57. if 1.2 format it will be converted to 1.3.

  59. WIN2WIN Cautions
  60.  
  61. Views 1.3 WIN files contain more information than 1.2 WIN files.  Thus,
  62. some information is lost with converting to the l.2 format.  Specifically,
  63. the shadow on/off toggle for certain window types may be lost.  Default
  64. information is supplied when converting from 1.2 to 1.3.
