README of EMSHANDL.EXE
Product: DR DOS 6.0
Description:
This is an optional version of the EMM386.SYS (ver 2.11) driver. This
version will support up to 255 EMS handles instead of the 64 handles
supported by the standard version (ver 2.1) of the driver.
NOTE: After installing this file and rebooting, EMM386.SYS will have a
slightly larger footprint in the Upper Memory region. This change may mean
that fewer of your drivers or Terminate and Stay Resident programs (TSR's)
will be able to load into that area. If this is case on your machine,
those drivers or TSR's will load by default into conventional memory, thus
reducing your available conventional memory.
