Displaying the current Channel Configuration will show the drives which are currently assigned to this Disk CoProcessor. It is necessary to select this option if you wish to modify (add or remove) the disks currently assigned to this Disk CoProcessor.
If more than one functioning Disk CoProcessor is available in this computer, a second option will allow you to select the desired Disk CoProcessor to configure.

Each Disk CoProcessor in a File Server needs to be configured with this utility (DiskSet). This menu will allow you to select which Disk CoProcessor (channel) to currently configure. The currently selected Disk CoProcessor is shown in the top header of this utility.

This window shows the current disks which have been assigned to this Disk CoProecessor. Use the <Ins> key to add more disks and the <Del> key to delete the currently selected (highlighted) disk.
An empty window shows that no disks are currently assigned to this Disk CoProcessor. Use the <Ins> key to add a disk.
Use the arrow keys to move the selection bar (highlight) to the drive which you wish to add to this Disk CoProcessor. The /A4000 and /A4070 notations added to some drive types denotes the controller type used with that selection: Adaptec 4000 and Adaptec 4070 respectively. When two drives are shown on the same line, they will function as drive 0 and 1 off of the same controller.
All SCSI controllers operating on the same SCSI bus need a unique address. This menu will allow you to specify the address of this new controller. SCSI address changes generally require jumper changes to the controller.
