  17. Visual AppBuilder for Windows projects using a large number of Assign
  18. functions could cause GPF errors by not properly releasing resources when the
  19. Assign has been performed. A new General Functions ALM corrects this problem.
  20. This ALM is recommended for all owners of Visual AppBuilder

  32. Visual AppBuilder for Windows projects using a large number of Assign
  33. functions could cause GPF errors.

  35. CAUSE
  36.  
  37. The Assign Function was not properly releasing resources when the function was
  38. executed.  All though the amount was small, eventually after repeated use the
  39. application could cause  a GPF error as all available memory is consumed.

  41. SOLUTION
  42.  
  43. Installation of the new General ALM corrects the problem of the Assign
  44. function not releasing it's resources properly.
